I buy most of my CDs from Amazon now, shopping in the store here is only good if you want Justin Bieber or Whitmey Houston's greatest hits. Gotta get to Taipei next month.

I may be exaggerating a bit about the state of affairs here in NY but not by much......I mean how many Women's shoe stores and boutiques does this city really need ?

Well, this week sucks. Because of the four day weekend, I must work Saturday. Tuesday was the holiday (2-28 Peace Day), they gave us Monday but gotta make it up this Saturday. Was hoping most of the kids would stay home, but it turns out they all plan on showing up on Saturday. All the parents are working, and public schools are in too.

Looking at the movies on sale next week. Deer Hunter, Parenthood, and Game of Thrones. All decent prices for day 1. Think I may throw in When Harry Met Sally and The Guns of Navarone.

Amazon.com, about $78 for the BDs and $25 for shipping. Should be here in about a month. Wish they had them at Amazon.co.uk, those guys are cheaper and faster with the shipping.

The shipping is normal for five BDs. The Game of Thrones BD really put the price up a bit. I'd like to pay $7.99 per, but I really have been waiting for The Deer Hunter and Parenthood for years.

My DVD is window-boxed (black bars top,bottom and sides), anamorphic widescreen made for old 4:3 TVs. Like Star Wars theatrical DVDs it looks terrible stretched out. NEED the BD!

No, I did not. My iPad, quite often, wont display the vids in the threads here. I am on the laptop now. All I have to say about the trailer is: VERY COOL!
