Default Smallest blu ray dvd player

Hi,
I have been reading up quite a bit on the latest Blu-Ray players, and I have read through these forums, all good stuff and very helpful. My question is this, I have a limited amount fo space to put my player, roughly 25cms width, and 20cms depth. Therefore I am looking for a very small player, does anyone know what the smallest Blu-Ray player is out there? The new Samsung one looks small ish, but it side loads and that means it just wont fit....Thx very much....

Dan

The smallest one I know of as of now is a BD-ROM or BD-R(W)? If you're looking for a regular blu-ray player that size, then you might have to wait a couple years.

Panasonic has the DMP-BD15. It's a portable player but has HDMI out and bitstreams HD audio codecs. I think it lists for $800 USD but I've seen it under $700 USD at some places.

Width: 9.56"
Height: 2.31"
Depth: 7.06"
Panasonic TC-P65VT30

Well then, you'll probably need to import.

The Momitsu wil be too big (if 25x20 cm's is your max) and even the smallest notebook with BD-drive from Sony (Z-series) will be too big for you. Only the Panasonic mentioned here in the former post might fit. In Metric it is 25.6 x 20.2 x 5.87 cm, so you'd better double check your cabinet. Cheers!

Funny, if you look at Panasonics own website, you will see the Metric measurements as I quoted above, see here (scroll to the bottom):
