I may be in the minority but I have no desire to buy or see this film. I made the mistake of buying the first one on DVD (before I made the jump to blu) and I have only watched it twice. The first time because I hadn't seen it and the second time to give it another chance.

I am glad they are bringing someone new it to director the franchise.

it seems that I was one of the few that actually didnt mind this movie. I though Zombies remake was OK I do like Scout Taylor Compton and Danielle Harris on the movie though. The Original Halloween will always be the best anyway.. I was surprised that I actually liked this movie much better than I was expecting. I also hope the blu-ray gets both the directors cut and the cut released in theaters because like a few other people I wasnt fond of the directors cut of Zombies remake. I just didnt like how Micheal escaped in that one.

I have alot of movies that I dont like. I just have to have them. I have Sin City on blu and havent even watched it.

I just cant see having Halloween 1 without Halloween 2. I just wont pay alot for it.

Looking forward to giving this a rent. I liked the first Rob Zombie Halloween but I heard this one was much worse. We'll see...

Pre-order up. $27.49. Does appear to be Sony. I think thats a good thing (I liked H2). The Weinsteins Companys Blus werent great. The Mists black and white version being the best by far.

January 12th sucks. I wanted it to come out mid December! Hopefully we will get great special features, BOTH versions and an awesome looking cover.

I hated the film in theaters, but I'm interested in the Director's Cut. Hopefully it will be better than the first one's DC.

Even though I liked the theatrical version very much, I think the DC will be a far better movie overall. So everyone should give it a second chance. I heard the DC will be 126 minutes long.

I purposely avoided the theatrical so I could just wait for the DC. I'm hoping it's as good as the first movie's DC (which I felt improved the movie in some ways.)

I just saw this in the theater a few days ago thinking I would hate it after all the reviews. Turns out I really liked it. Probably my 3rd or 4th favorite in the series. It definitely was a different approach and the most brutal Halloween movie to date. The scene where

It probably has to do with Weinstein and Sony's negotiations to release it. We should be hearing something soon.
