Remember when Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was supposed to be the next big action star when it came to his roles in "The Mummy Returns", "The Scorpion King", "The Rundown", and "Walking Tall"? Well apparently, that's not the case here...again. And it looks like Ashley Judd, Billy Crystal (in his first movie in 8 years), and the very classy Julie Andrews has joined him in Dwayne's next potential bomb.

Please go back to action movies, Dwayne!! Or just go back to wrestling altogether!!

The Rock is too manly to be a tooth fairy -- or any other fairy for the matter.

The casting seems off. This role is more tailored for Richard Simmons.

The movie has every single recognizable symptom of looking like it was part of a three-picture deal made for Disney--
Until Walden Pictures left Disney and took the cheapo-Disney Dwayne Johnson comedy with them to Fox.

IMO The Rock is the lesser version of Vin Diesel. There are two versions of a lot of actors and generally I prefer one over the other; for example, Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek. They are similar in many ways but I think Salma is way better. Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal, I'm undecided on.

While I don't think the Rock will be the next great action star don't forgot all the crap movies Schwarzanegger did in the middle of his career like the 2 movies with Danny Devito and Kindergarten Cop. While Stallone did such classics as Stop or My Mom will shoot, Rhinestone & Over the Top.

Not defending the Rock or saying he is better just similar and at least he has more of an excuse compared to Arnold and Sly. He has said he's making these movies now so his kids can go see the movies he makes.

I am not trying to say anything about Korean people; I do not want to be offensive. I am referring to products made in certain locations. For instance, my really cheap bass guitar is made in China, my more expensive bass is made in Mexico, the highest quality (of this brand) is made in America. The product made in China is cheaply crafted with cheaper materials vs the product made in America that uses finer products and is made with more precision.

I am not referring to ethnicity or culture.

The Rock and Vin Diesel would fill the same roles but The Rock is not as good an actor as Vin Diesel and I'm betting it costs less to hire him.
