Well the subs arrived today and I took pics with my camera phone and uploaded them to the site and here they are.

As you can see I ordered the Rosenut to match my Monitor Audio!!!

I wanted to take more pics, but I would have to take the whole sub out the box and that is too much work. I didn't want to open the box, but I had to do it and I had to touch them.... lol

HAMP I am Thrilled You Went Ahead and got the Dual SVS Subs.
From those who own SVS Subs,as well as Reviews, you made one of the finest choices possible.

When you and your fiance finally make the Move its going to be Amazing How incredible Your New System will be.
Congratulations,my Friend.

Its wonderful to know ALL of this is waiting for you when the time is right.
I am Proud of your resolve and determination to not get this system out and start using it. I do understand the motivation why you wouldn't.

But just the fact you haven't is to be commended,my Friend.
And Congratulations,Again, on the Two Awesome SVS Subs,my Friend.

You certainly deserve them,HAMP!!!

I think I can say that and mean it. A couple of reasons come to mind as to why.

The first reason:
Since nothing is connected I wouldn't know what to buy or get, I guess the other things will come to me when I hear and see it setup...

The second reason:
I'm broke azz hell... Now that will positively put a hold on buying anything new... lol

I really hope I made the best decision in getting my entire setup from the MA’s to SVS.

I’m sure the best thing would have been to move into a home and then start to buy according to the lay, such as Plasma TV or a Projector and maybe even one sub or two.

The messed up feeling I had inside when all of my things were stolen had such a empty bad feeling inside, that buying a little here and a little there really helped.

It does feel a lot better knowing I will have some things to move into a new place instead of buying after I get there, that emptiness is filled for now. It’s almost like it didn’t matter what happened, “I’m dong much better now” kinda of a feeling. Don’t get me wrong, I really wish it didn’t happen.

You all know my motivation for not installing anything, I’m just wondering if any of you can understand the pain of not doing it…. Lol OMG!!!! It’s terrible.

What is good about me having the stuff at friend’s houses is that I can’t touch them and I can’t try to pick and probe. In a way I play a mind trick on myself and look at my own pics as if I’m looking to buy them later…. Hahahaha, if that makes any sense, like internet shopping again. hahaha

Also my friends tried to talk me out of bringing my Samsung and PS3 to the apartment for now, but that would be just too much torture without something. I get a little bit of it with the cheap HTiB thingy!

I understand your mentality Hamp...a man has to know his limitations. Apparently, you do. Out of sight..out of mind (more or less.) Hang in there, because what you will eventually have a set up that will blow away my HT and alot of others.

That's cool, I didn't think to disable the ratings. I had taken the pics because a few had asked about them, so I took some and put them up.

I'm actually a little impressed with my camera phone. The last set of pics I had taken I uploaded from the phone to the site without a PC.

I have always loved my cell phone, the Samsung Omnia, the pics and video have always impressed me.

A video clip uploaded to Youtube from the camera My daughter at playscape

The actual video looks alot better then the uploaded one, but yet it still is darn good.

That is a great video for a cell phone. Then Again, I haven't really compared phones. I think I've only taken two or three pics with my iPhone and no video.

Your little girl is cute. Is the women spinner her your fiance or her mom? I can't remember if you are good terms with the mom and would all hang out together. Or is she the one you think knew about the HT gear and was involved somehow?

The video is really pretty good and much better before the upload. I don't know if you ever compared an original video and the uploaded video before.

I used the video a few times, the phone comes with 8gig built in and you can add another 16gig.

That's her mom, my ex-wife ..... Hummm good terms are sometimes and most times not.. She wants/wanted us to get back together and she even tried to break me and my fiance up. She is not the one I thought was involved, it was another woman, which I know now wasn't.

Just by you saying that, you my friend know absolutely without a doubt exactly how I am feeling right now!

This is torture.

I have movies I haven’t looked at because I know how important the audio is. They are still sealed, but I did look at Star Trek a few times and I seriously wanted to wait on that one with the subs.

Hang in there it'll be worth the wait. When you get settled in & start sending out invites for demos, don't forget to send one my way ! Columbus is less than 3hrs away & I'd love to hear your system in action someday.

I was born & raised in Flint, Michigan & still make a few trips up north each year to visit relatives. I moved down to Columbus, OH in 1992 for economic reasons( watch Michael Moore's "Roger & Me" ).

What receiver or pre-pro/amp combo do you plan on using?
