It was me that talked about it with you before and it looks like I did.

The pain, is painful... It will make a grown man cry. Torture is another way of saying it.

Its high levels of Uric acid in the blood and it will settle into a joint and then crystallize into the shape of needles and a person will have thousands of needles sticking them in that joint. The medicine should break down the crystals, but it's pain regardless

One of the funniest jokes about this is, when a person who is having an attack, will say they do not want the sheet from the bed touching that spot, it's only a joke after it's over with.... That is a real statement.

I have been in so much pain, one time, I didn't want the air from the fan blowing on my ankle.

It’s been time where it was so painful, I could not get any sleep, not until I was totally exhausted and passed out.

Wow and ouch (some of those pics).
How long does an attack last? This must be horrible for you to live with!

It can last over a week, a week of never letting up pain. Torture for the entire time.

Then after the gout is gone, I then have to worry about the damage it has caused. Lets say my wrist for an example, I barely can use it for two weeks after an serious attack.

Horrible is a close description, I swear I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I would not want any of my friends to sample this pain to get an idea of what I go thru.
