I vaguely remember Bill Hunt posting something about Fox working on getting Alien and Aliens released on BD in 2008. If somebody wants to look for the specifics at The Digital Bits, I think it was posted before Fox took their BD+ break so you'll probably have to search back pretty far.

Anyway, I really hope that they get these out ASAP

I really like Alien but I have to say the second is a much better view. They are both buys on release day.I do want the Aliens to be the extended version though.

If this has already been started sorry, I searched and didn't find. Is there any rumor to a complete Alien series release with a new Alien movie coming out? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the cute little Xenomorphs.

It was mentioned by an insider a while back that at least some of the Alien movies should be coming out in 2008, I don't think there was any detail as to whether it would be the full set or individual movies.

It would be the largest blu-box set release yet. Make it a collectors edition with loads of special features and people would spend well over a hundred dollars. I know I would.

It would make perfect sense for at least the first 2 Alien movies to released at the same time as AVP2 on Blu. And the first Predator as well.

I'd pick up Ridley Scott's Alien and James Cameron's Aliens - but thats it. Alien3 and Resurrection were a mite silly for my tastes.
