Star Trek: Next Gen Box Set - $39.99 @ BB! - Blu-ray Forum

Yesterday, I was in Best Buy, killing time on my lunch break, and I saw this great blu-ray deal. The Star Trek Next Generation Movie Collection Box Set for only $39.99! Regular price in-store was $72.99 and online it was $64.99. ST:FC alone is $24.99! So it certainly is a deal and a half! I didn't see it advertised anywhere so check out your local BB if your interested.

It still says $64.99 online.

The regular DVD set looks very similar with the blue border, are you sure you didn't see that? If not, that store probably screwed up.

I can confirm that it was the TNG movie set on sale is definitely the BD set as I picked it up. I actually got it for $29.99 as it scanned higher than the displayed shelf price of $39.99, so I got an additonal $10 off due to the SCOP.

This is at the Oakville BB at 403/Dundas...YMMV though, I've heard alot of different outcomes from posters on RFD

Yes, it helps to average out my $/BD costs

I just watched Generations last night...it sure looked good to me. Maybe I'm not sophisticated enough, but it seemed to rate better than the 3/5 stars it got for PQ from the site review

Yeah, I didn't expect it to be any better than that. Well worth the upgrade for $10.

Hopefully a few people will grab this at the price.

I'm positive, its the blu-ray boxset! For only $39.99! All 4 movies on blu plus the 5th blu disc with exclusive HD bonus content! Awesome!

Yep, that was a great spot.

I paid $59.99 for it on release day and was happy with that. This price is ridiculous

I can confirm too, I saw the Blu for this price, I almost got it but considering I haven't seen any of the Trek films beyond Khan & the new one; seemed like a waste for me

i went to bb today and saw it for 74$ or something it was price on the sticker so not sure, maybe i should go to them and scan it?

Seems like it might be a pricing error at some stores - my BB today also had it priced at 72.99, but sitting on a sale shelf (with no tag underneath it)

When I asked them to scan it, it came up at $64.99 which quickly ended my interest in the set.
