Iron Man..?

I was just at Walmart 20 minutes ago and I was tempted to buy Iron Man. But really.. $30?? I hear that the film is great but that price is a bit high. And for Iron Man 2 in May, I will definitely be buying it. But anybody know if there's gonna be a price drop or a deal of some sort..?

I bought it used, and even then it was pretty expensive (in my opinion) This is just one of those titles where the price isn't dropping too quickly.....

I don't think anyone is going to know about some amazing sale coming up.... your guess is as good as anyones.

Iron Man has dropped numerous times on Amazon (the lowest I've seen it was 12.99 during a non-holiday sale), but I don't think they've lowered it in a while Great action/superhero movie though with a solid story and performances to back it up

Check on amazon.com and/or the Hot Deals Forum on this site. I've seen Iron Man as low as $16.99, which was when I bought it.

Amazon has had good deals on it a few times. Right now isn't one of them though. They've got it at $25.99. I paid $29.99 plus tax for it at Wal-Mart the day it came out last year.

Pick it up at Blockbuster in almost brand new condition. Lots of copies never got viewed before they pulled them for sale, plus it's a 2 disc film.Get another bluray for $25 for both. The best route at the moment for this title. Blockbusters 2 for $25 has been sensational for me, and I've picked up several BD's that are still going for almost $30 for $12.50
You have to own Iron Man on BD it's a must. And the good thing is it has great replay value.

I was one that waited a long time for Iron Man to go on sale, and BB had this for $19.99 during the summer. I picked it up as soon as it was on sale.

You have to own Iron Man on BD it's a must. And the good thing is it has great replay value.

Thats the best route for the film if you want it cheap. If you look at the price drops on this title, it was around $15 last april and it just rises during holiday season. So unless you want to wait for another price drop either try 2 for 1 price deals. The movie is cool but i wouldnt justify it for a $30 purchase. (i got mine for $25 and still regret buying it at that time)

I got mine for $15 from Amazon.com last year on Black Friday. You could wait and see if there's another sale like that on Black Friday.

This is my suggestion as well. I'm sure Black Friday will bring a ton of Blu-ray specials at all retailers.

Iron Man was on sale on Amazon for a long time. It was 16.99 when I bought it last year. Transformers was going for the same price. I haven't checked the page but if its not on sale on Amazon you could probably find it super cheap used.

i searched E-bay and there are several used copies going for $15 and up using "buy it now" or you could take your chances bidding. i got my copy the day it came out at Best Buy using a $10 off Reward Zone certificate.

This one and the Incredible Hulk, I've been keeping an eye out for. There should a good price drop for blu Ray in the near future since the disc price is the real obstacle left to conquer!

I remember that morning, I picked it up for the same price. An hour later people were complaining when they lost out on the deal as a result of the price increasing to about 20 bucks.

IMO it's a must have title, but I agree with the OP that I wouldn't want to pay $30 for it. If you could get it for $20 or less though I would say buy it. The BB price listed above is probably as good as you'll find. Or you could keep an eye on the trading forum here and see what you can find. I routinely see Iron Man for sale/trade there.
