Did anyone else think that the end credits were up converted? The whole movie was nice but the end credits looked crappy.

Not got this disc yet but would be very disappointed if the end credits are from an inferior source (it seems unlikely though).

Why wouldn't we? If it really is upconverted they are cheating us!

My disc is on the way and will hopefully be delivered today or tomorrow so I can watch it over the weekend.

Because they could have made the entire film in HD, and downconverted it for DVD, and done the end credits in SD to save space on the original DVD. The end credits are the least of their worries. Many movies are/were mastered in HD and then just down rezzed for DVD.

Well....the rest of the film was eye candy lol...don't really looks @ the credits.

I watched the end credits and didn't notice anything odd... I did notice the aliasing issue on Sully's hair throughout the movie though which deffinately nocked the PQ down a notch for me.

As far as I recall from the old DVD, the credits have never really been a feast for the eyes.

My son recently got into this movie (borrowed) and we've been watching it once a day for the past week + so far..... The BD is due tomorrow......

He likes to dance during the credits, so we see them ALL THE WAY TO THE END.......

They look "rough" on DVD..... so perhaps the original source was intentionally soft to give it that "Classic" feel to match the ending credit's song

Beta Man be prepared, the bloopers at the end credits from the DVD were removed in the BD, now there are only written credits and the bloopers were placed separately as bonus features... at least in the BD version I purchased in Mexico... not sure if it's the same in the one from the US

EDIT. I haven't been able to find Mike's musical either, so far I've seen it only in the extra DVD

+1. I couldn't believe how much of it I was seeing on his fur. After all the boner reviews of the PQ on this one I expected it to be flawless. His shimmering looking parts of his fur was distracting.

That's probably why. The credits looked like they had a shutter to them. The rest of the movie was fine. But the credits looked weird.

I'm watching the film again tonight with some friends, I'll pay more attention then.

Are you using 24fps or motion enhancers or anything?

Yeah I was happy that the reviewer on here caught it otherwise I would've been like "what's up with my TV?!" It seems weird considering all other Pixar titles are absolutely flawless.
