Warner Home Video has announced two fantasy titles from the 1980s for release on Blu-ray on March 2, 2010: 'Clash of the Titans' and 'The Neverending Story'. 'Clash of the Titans' will be presented in a Digibook case, whereas 'The Neverending Story' will come in a regular BD case. There is no information regarding audio and video specifications yet.

Special features include:

Clash of the Titans:
A Conversation with Ray Harryhausen
Maps of Myths and Monsters Gallery
Trailers:
Original 1981 movie
2010 version
The Neverending Story:

There is NO way the COTT transfer can be a disappointment after you've owned the DVD for years. No way. An upgrade of even the slightest margin will suffice.

Neverending Story... only a trailer? Looks like another example of Warner being lazy and adding nothing new to their catalog titles and just porting over their SD discs over to BD.

Please Warner please put on this disc the features that were on the German release.... or at least put the music video by Limahl on the disc.

Yeah, I thought that was a pretty small list of features... I bet it'll be the same SD version from the DVD.

I wouldn't bet on the music video, that'd cost money...

But, as long as the movie looks good, I can live with it...

I only own the garbage full-screen DVD edition of the Neverending Story so the BD will be a definite buy for me.

By the way, news editor, that's "The NeverEnding Story", not "The Neverending Story". Don't let the all-caps on the artwork fool you.

I agree, a new special feature or two would be nice...

I must say, though, a lossless 2-channel sound track would be nifty. The addition of a well-mixed lossless 5.1 mix to that would really sweeten the deal.

I always thought it had a very film-like image. This movie has never looked wonderful to begin with, as there are a LOT of optical effects.

From the Amazon.Com reviews, it sounds like it's a complete disaster, which is why I have yet to import it. Glad I waited, this will always be one of my favourite movies of all-time.

Not one of my fav of all time, but definitely one of my favourite childhood movies.
