WWE Royal Rumble 2010 [US Release] -- March 2, 2010 - Blu-ray Forum

The 2010 WWE Royal Rumble DVD will be released in both standard and Blu-Ray formats. This will be the first event released in the U.S. to get the treatment, that is not a WrestleMania DVD.

Special Features:

Bret Hart Confronts Mr. McMahon on Raw
Entire Episode of RAW from January 25, 2010
Entire Episode of SmackDown! from January 29, 2010

As I mentioned here, WWE plans to release more Blu-Ray titles in 2010. More than likely it will be the bigger events of the year, including SummerSlam and Survivor Series.

Picked up my Blu-Ray copy at Best Buy yesterday for $24.99

. i'm amazed that they actually included this much extra footage for a non-Wrestlemania release let alone this much period for a WWE Home Video release. WWE has seriously been lacking in the extras department for their DVD's since 2004 or so. with the amount of extras they've put on here there slowly making up for what they should have been doing for all their releases that they've released in the past. if they've added this much extras for a Rumble release i can't wait to see what they're capable of with the upcoming Wrestlemania 26 Blu-Ray release. a great step in the right direction

Damn fine extras!!

I wont be purchasing this cause I already spent over $50 to watch it on PPV and It was an "ok" Royal Rumble.

WWE does have some of the best HD quality that i've seen for a tv show.

It's being released in Canada next Tuesday, can't wait!

There isn't going to be a Survivor Series this year, so I wonder which events they plan on doing this for. Perhaps just Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania and Summerslam. It would be nice if they did it with all of the PPV events though.

Rumors say they might do War Games in November (basically WCW's Fall Brawl).

Vince changed his mind about Survivor Series, but only for this year. They want it to be the last one because they want to celebrate Undertaker's 20th anniversary. That's what I heard anyway.

damn. glad i ran across this thread. I've been waiting on Amazon, but now I know why they don't have it for sell. Just ordered at bestbuy.com. With RZ certificate, it came out to $24.22. Not bad considering how much I've paid for the WM Blu-ray's on Amazon when they came out. Thanks OP.

In the US, Best Buy is the only place selling it. Here in Canada, every retail has it for sale (even on Amazon.ca).

I picked it up yesterday at Walmart for $26+ tax. Future Shop also had it and were charging $35+ tax.

It looks exactly the same as the Best Buy US release, except theres no Exclusive sticker on the front and has a Canadian rating on the back.

God.. I haven't watched WWE in a long time. I may pick this up, just to catch up on all the action. But it sucks that it's just 1080i.
