Default No More Flight of the Conchords

Too bad, it was a funny show, still hope they'll put the 2 seasons on Blu-ray, although I'm not holding my breath.

From E! News:
Flight of the Conchords: Noooooooooo! OK, we know there were rumors this might happen, but still, it doesn't lessen the sting: Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords have announced on their website that their quirky and hilarious HBO show won't be back for a third season. Pretty stunning, given its critical praise and recent Emmy accolades (Jemaine was nominated for Best Comedy Actor earlier this year).

"We've noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it," they wrote. "So in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won't be returning for a third season. We're very proud of the two seasons we made, and we like the way the show ended." But we don't like that it's ending at all!

They should pretend to breakup and do a press conference on why!

I thought this would happen, but it still sucks to see it did. So yeah, seeing the two seasons on blu would be great.

Aww. I really liked this show. I guess youhave to "get it" because my wife hated it but I laughed my ass off. Murray should go down as one of the best tv characters ever.

I thought the show was pretty good, sometimes hit and miss. I actually bought season 2 without having sen it (still have yet to watch most of it). I will say; though, that their live performance was better than the show IMO. I'm not surprised that it was cancelled.

Deadpool: And now I'm better at doing whatever it is Wolverine does!

It wasn't canceled, the 2 stars decided not to go any longer. This happens more often in other countries, like the original UK version of The Office. If this was a US show they'd probably try to recast or do some sort of relaunch. I agree the show was hit or miss though. There were some amazing episodes but there were some episodes I couldn't finish.

Yeah, IIRC, they were reluctant to do the second season, and pretty much said at the time that they wouldn't be back for a third. This announcement is more or less just making it official. I would have been way more surprised if they came back honestly.
