Can anyone tell me if this is worth having? There are only 2 reviews on Amazon. One is a FUDer and the other is an Anti-FUDer.

It's from Disney/Pixar films and exclusive to Blu-Ray. That's all you really need to know. If you are a fan of any of the Disney/Pixar films it's a no-brainer.

I don't think so, I love pixar movies and I have seen all of these shorts and they are good. Having said that I don't think 13 four minute shorts with a run time of less then 60 minutes is worth $24... I will rent it on netfilx..

I'm a little confused? This item is still at pre-order status. How would anyone have seen it yet. Is there a DVD version floating around??? The BD release date of Nov 6 was put on hold...BTW.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Pixar shorts (thanks to my kids!!) I think they are all very creative. This is a buy for me.

Since I am an animation guru/nut-case, I absolutely have to have this! I am a huge fan of Pixar, and love their short animations. I can't wait to see these for the first time in an exclusive collection in High Definition!

I'm sure they are just going off of the shorts that were previously releases on Pixar DVD releases. Also you were able to view the shorts on Pixar's website in the past...although I don't know it that is still the case.

You are right. That occurred to me after my post.
I have all Pixar DVD's so that is where I have seen them.

Should be pretty good. I wonder if Knick Knack will be the uncensored version or the 'reduced' one. It looks like we get Audio Commentaries as well. Sweet.

I wonder if these shorts are going to be direct digital transfers ala 'A bug's life'. I would love to see the ps3 to run some of these shorts in real time. Ps3 should be powerful enough to re-create these shorts pixel perfect like the original pixar render.
