USA is The Bucket List any good?

WBshop has the 2 for 25 dollar sale still active, plus I can use the welcome09 code for an extra 5 off making 2 for 10. I already got one I want(LA Confidential) but I need a second title to get the deal. I'm a big fan of both Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman and have like most of Rob Reiner's films, but have yet to see The Bucket List. Is it worth 10 bones? There is still not yet an official review on this site.

I don't know about the quality of the disc, but I thought the movie was very mediocre. I believe Ebert gave it 1 star as well.

It's decent, but doesn't qualify as a blind buy recommendation. It's a bit melodramatic.

hmmmm, you're a "big fan of Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman" and you're wondering if it's worth 10 bucks?!

in regards to the past couple of posts-- it's a good movie-- not great but
a good movie... (not everything has to be "great" to make it worth buying)

funny-- DOMINO was unwatcheable as far as I'm concerned-- it was a blind buy I made on dvd a few years back and I immediately gave it to a friend...
it was wretched on every level!

I enjoyed The Bucket List. Dont take it too seriously and it can be fun. $10.00....what the heck.
Because Calamari Marionette Ph.D sounded pompous, that's why.

I didn't think that movie was poignant enough for a rewatch. IMO, rent first.

I rented it, it was pretty good, nothing amazing though. I personally wouldn't buy it myself, but I enjoyed the movie, and the blu ray PQ is pretty good.

I also enjoyed the movie, and own it on BD. It hits home on a personal level for me.

Indeed, the audio is limited to lossy Dolby Digital 5.1.

I really loved this movie.

It's the classic redemption story, with two veteran actors. Very funny, and I cried a lot.

B+ (misses the A- because of the lack of lossless audio)

Good price and very entertaining but not worthy of repeat viewings, imo.
