OK I had also gotten a Linksys Wireless-N Bridge anyways to make a long story short it does not work. So I was wondering would ANY Wireless G USB Network Adapter work OR is there specific ones I should look at.
I am going to take the Bridge back tell them it's broken and also that it does not work and I was told that it would so my budget will be about $105 - I could pay a few bucks over so let's say my total budget is 120-130. Here is my setup Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G connected to my DSL Modem This is in my living room. Down the hall in the bedroom is DirectTV (which I would also like to have connected to the net BUT if needed I will just switch wires or whatever when I need the Blu Ray online or DirectTV) and also in the bedroom is my LG BD-370. The LG is the most important to be online as well my name is Chris and I am addicted to Netflix! Thanks for all the help! EDIT: Oh would something like this work http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Belkin+-...pter&cp=1&lp=1 ( Belkin - Wireless-G USB 2.0 Network Adapter ) Because if it does - well then I would have some left over money to spend on blu-rays!

I just got the BD390, which has built in wireless support. While I had no trouble configuring the internet access I did find that it would sometimes stutter while streaming video from my PC, so I hooked it up to a netgear powerline adapter and everything plays smoothly. I got a single line adapter from HHGregg for $129, Best Buy has store branded adapters for under $100.

You have the same problem I had. I solved it by getting a DD-WRT firmware modified router from ebay. There are lots of them for a pretty good price.
What mine is is... a Linksys WRT54G router with the DD-WRT firmware loaded instead of the linksys firmware. The DD-WRT firmware will let the router connect to your normal wifi router wirelessly and act as a bridge for up to 4 hard wired devices. I have the DD-WRT router set up as a wireless bridge and I have my DVR, Xbox360 and my BD370 plugged in. There is still a port open for anything else I want to put there - a HTPC maybe. If you have an old linksys router you can even do the DD-WRT firmware upgrade yourself if you feel up to it. The firmware is free online but make sure you get the proper build for the correct hardware version of your router. Check the label on the router.. I hope that helps. The DD-WRT was the best solution I could come up with without spending tons of cash. mkztg |

I'm glad you got yours to work. I flashed DD-WRT onto a Linksys WRT300N v.1.1 that I had hanging around. Firmware seems to be fine, but I've been trying for a week to get it to work as a client bridge. No joy, yet...
![]() At least if I get too frustrated, I can Ebay it! |

Try the Slinglink Turbo Ethernet bridge. It works flawlessly for me, and uses the existing wiring of your house instead of having the run wires from one room to another. Best Buy also carries it I think. They also make one with four ports. Here is the link to the single bridge one though.

Texitura - Give this wiki a quick read - its helped me setup mine.
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Bridge I have both my router and bridge on the same network anf the bridge's wifi is active too with a different SSID. That way I can connect to the strongest signal depending on where I am in the house and still print to my network printer. I hope that helps. mkztg |
