I got season one one blu at best buy today any one else get this

What did you pay for it? Amazon has it for pre-order at 62.99
and my local add didn't even show any new BD's except for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

49.99 they prised matched season 4.5 i believe since they couldnt find the sale price either

so the price on the Blu-ray set was $49.99? If so I can't wait to get it tomorrow. I've never seen the show and I heard so many good things about it. I doubt my local BB has it out since the street date is not until tomorrow.

@sfmarine the whole series (US Version) from what I read the packaging sucks and I prefer buying it separately when each season is released.

I agree, if your holding back because of the case...you can get some custom art that is floating around or get the UK version. This is just to good of a series to wait for the rest of the Blu rays to be released when you can get them now!!!

Well you can just buy the UK version, it's region free. and about 166$US including SHIPPING from UK. That's about 33$US per season! I did during Xmas season and already at S3

called my local BB and they only received 3 ($65.99) and then couldn't find them. I guess Amazon it is and I will call it a day.

Seems very risky.

2. The packaging sucks.

3. Some people don't want generic, printed off artwork for regular blu cases.

I understand not wanting to buy it all but if you get the UK set the packaging doesn't suck (at least IMO) and is only around 150 USD.

WOW I just bought season one 2 weeks ago on dvd! I should've waited damn it!!

I think the two biggest reasons would be getting the show in regular packaging and if you didn't want to spend all of that money at once. The $62.99 price tag is a joke though, which is a shame as I would have went that route so I didn't have to spend all of that money at once. As it is now, I won't be owning any of the series at all and I would love to.

i paid 49.99
i asked bb what they were selling it for and they price matched it of season 4.5. They didnt knw what the sale price was its not even in there new flyer i believe eventually i want to get the complete series but its still 250.00 the individual seasons r better for storing the movies or so ive heard

You may have just gotten lucky by getting it for that price. I would have been more than happy to go this route instead of buying the whole series at once, but only if the price was actually $49.99 everywhere.

I just got my whole series in the mail today, I hope to start re-watching them tomorrow evening. I thought about the individual seasons, but didn't want to wait for them to come out. I am glad I did it that way, got it for $199new shipped from Amazon.

i hate the UK packaging and was going to just get each season as they came out but i got my income tax check and judging BRs track record of releasing a few seasons and thats it even when they announced ALL seasons i went ahead and jumped on the UK version even though i HATE the packaging of it

Yeah i wanted to get the US version because i think the package looks superior but the way the disc are set up they are prone to getting damaged/scratched so i had to settle with the giant ugly tin but it was alot cheaper :-/
