Would like War of the Worlds too, obviously not as good as the original but it should have an earth shatteringly loud lossless audio track

Anyone think there might be some complaints about grain on this one?

This movie better be reference material in terms of PQ and AQ.
I totally look forward to this, hopefully it'll be like seeing for the first time again.
And who cares if they complain about grain?

Grain-haters are going to jump on this like a trampoline. The grain is intentional, but that won't stop the grain howler monkeys from freaking out and throwing their poop on everyone who passes by.

The rest of us are going to love a 4k mastered Spielberg film on Blu-Ray.

I love grain, but the grain on the DVD transfer makes the film look like crap, especially on an HDTV.

I cannot wait for the BD though, this film is going to look excellent!

Uh... wha? Are you talking about SD DVD or are you saying that grain looks bad on HDTV's? Either way, I disagree because DVD's have the grain scrubbed out of their low-bitrate transfers anyway.
