What types of things do you think will be in this release prety sure its going to be a big box just like GWTW and The Wizard of Oz

Things i think should be in the box

1. The map with the piano notes on the back
2. The skull key thing that was with the map
3. a book like the others Anniversary movies have gotten
4. maby one eye willies eye patch / an inhaler

This is good news but Im just glad I already got my UK edition. I cant really see a double dip unless there is a ton of new supplements added.

I'm not so sure that this will be some elaborate set like Oz or GWTW.

The term "ultimate" and "collectors" have been thrown around on DVD and BD for many years, and usually it refers to the extras that are on the disc.

But you never know. WB might have something special planned for the 25th anniversary.

That is exactly what is going to happen. Warner is relentlessly cheap in issuing and reissuing Blu-rays. They will take the existing UK disc and throw in some extra physical items and then call it a day. Figuring out their marketing plans is not too hard if you pay attention to them.

I would recommend to everyone to just import the UK Blu-ray now.

You never know with Warners (insert date here) Anniversary Editions, just look at Beetlejuice. Same extras as the previous dvd, plus a few episodes from the cartoons in SD. It's usually the 'Ultimate' Edition or something along those lines that gets the best treatment.

It'll probably have the same extras as the UK version.

I wont get a big box like what they did with Wizard and GWTW. I settles for the target editions for both. I just dont like the huge box with "junk" in it. I do love the movie so some physical things might be cool but keep it in a decent sized packaging please.

At this point I am happy with Warner when they include a lossless audio track. The cynic in me does not believe things will change anytime soon at WB.
