ABC announced that this will be Ugly Betty's final season

Since moving to Wednesday it has been performing better than other shows for the same age group such as the crappy new Scrubs.

Hopefully they have enough time to wrap up all the storylines.

This sucks.

You're definitely not hispanic then CZAR since you would know this show is based on one of the most popular Telenovelas ever made.

A shame, the first season was great, kinda hit or miss over the last couple seasons but there have still been some great episodes in there.

I just hope they wrap it up nicely. You can already kinda see where they are going with it.

I just read about that... and while I'll be sad to see Ugly Betty go, it's about time. There's only so much "fashion" I can put up with to watch America Ferrera. Can't wait to see what she goes on to do next.

Got nuthin' to do with being hispanic. I'm not hispanic, and STILL i know of the telenovella connection. I'll be honest, I've watched more of the telenovella than I have of ugly betty.

But, I've seen both, they both suck IMO, and I too am glad it's going off the air.

Well considering the makers said that about a million times when the first season came out, I think everyone that ISNT hispanic knows its based off a Telenovela

Too bad, really enjoyed the first two seasons. It sort of went downhill since the third season anyway, so i prefer them to give it a proper ending instead of running the show to a slow and painful death (creatively speaking).

No emotional connection with this show at all.

I DID however watch it for Rebecca Romijn, so I will miss the opportunity to see her once in a while (is she even in the newer seasons??)

I dunno...once a show ISN'T released in Blu...I kinda lose interest.

My mom and sisters always used to watch the Hispanic telenovella. I hated it so I used to walk out of the room every single time, never got to see the abc one and I'm kind of glad I didn't
