I'm thinking you'll need all of October to watch all of that!

You're probably right. I'm going to try and watch one a day throughout the next month.

Honestly, I don't even have a BD horror film. Having said that, there is one that is on my radar for October 31st...I'm looking at you, Pet Sematary. Yes, I am.

(Or maybe Poltergeist. Hmm.)

Nice choice of movies you chose,Just to let you know there is a thread called 31 days of horror movies 2012 where we all try to watch at least 1 or more horror movies a day for the month of oct and then we give some feedback of the movies we watch w a rating...

If you want my opinion I'd watch Poltergeist and read Pet Semetary. The best of both worlds.

Lots of bloggers do a similar thing, it seems to be quite the in thing among the genre community these days, which is understandable considering how lacking mainstream cinema is around this period these days (although I hear you Americans are getting a limited Halloween release? So jealous!). I'll be watching 31 Horror films in October (and will post a picture, when the rest arrives), but sadly I can't fit 1 a day in, so I'll have to double up some days. But I have 20-ish titles I haven't watched yet, and have a few on order, and will be ordering more. Sadly a lot of what I wanted to order this year has been region locked .

That's a very nice selection of movies Daikichi, I also have The Boogens ready to watch this Halloween season.

Just not at the same time, right?

I don't know. I think that the BD transfer for PS will decide which movie I buy...and I have to say, I've been impressed with the screencaps for PS so far. Of course, maybe I'll just buy both, who knows? After all, it's that time of the year.

I actually started this about 2 weekends ago... I work/am away from my home Monday - Thursday so I can only watch films/specials on the weekends, so in order to make it through 31 titles I needed to start a bit early... But I'm off and running, and hit #11 last night. I don't rent or borrow movies either, so my selections are based entirely off of what I own or have on my media server.

With all that said... my list...

1 -
2 - &
3 - The Simpsons Tree House of Horror I-XIV (DVD's)
4 -
5 -
6 -
7 -
8 - Bravos 100 Scariest Movie Moments (And 30 Even scarier Movie Moments (Media Server)
9 -
10 -
11 -

Assuming they arrive from the UK by then, and I haven't worn them out the days leading up to Halloween...

Garfield's Halloween is awesome. Glad I am not the only one who likes it.

I have a ton of horror titles in my collection, so I definately won't watch them all, but these are some of my favorites that I might watch in October:

Fairly certain this what my friends and I have decided upon. Trick 'r Treat and Halloween are no-brainers each year.

I just make a pile and pick a few each day that I'm in the mood for. Hopefully I get through half at least.
