Yes you can! Policy states that if the price drops within 30 days of purchase they will credit you the difference. Sale or not sale, it'll work.

Does Futureshop price match with the 10% extra plus give you an additional 10% off with the sale?

I have noticed a few movies I can get elsewhere cheaper but wonder if I can go this route to save big time.

Has anyone ever had any luck in doing this or do they simply say no.

Nope, you actually make off worse. They give the 10% off of their price, and then do the pricematch to the competitor - so you lose the 10% price match on the lower price. That's how it's done with me the one time I tried.

Item X - $100 @ FS, $80 @ BB - 10% difference = $78
Item X - $90 @ FS, $80 @ BB - 10% difference = $79

Basically you lose 1%. Of course, you could get lucky and have a cashier do it differently.

so whats weird is i went to my local fs today and bought 2 blus and there was no 10% off! i asked her about it and she said it was only on 'select' movies. i woulda been pissed off, but then one of the movies i bought scanned in at $19.99 (it was $12.99 on the shelf) so i asked for the $10 off with scanning code of practice. she argued and tried to talk to me like i was stupid and said it was 10% off NOT $10. i insisted and after about 10 mins and calling over a manager they finally gave it to me. so i got my blu for $2.99! so i dont mind paying the extra $1 on the other movie.

You could try calling a store later today. From what I saw, the Futureshops here all got their WKC shipments after the stores opened. They might have it by now.

Also from the time I checked this morning (10am) to now all the stores here went from out of stock to instock.

i've had that 10% off story before...although from Walmart....i wouldnt have argued if i was buying a big screen tv but it was a 10.00 movie...which they ended up selling for 1 cent in the end (it was a dvd)

It's true. EVERY blu is 10% off today. I brought my receipt from last week, and I had my 10% back. Then I bought few movies at $14.99. They all scanned without 10%. Then they adjusted the price manually.

too late for those in EST, but for those on the west coast - I went to Best Buy tonight and they price matched all the future shop prices, and then took 10% off, and then 10% of the difference as part of the price matching thing. The girls weren't sure but when they called the manager they had no problem whatsoever doing that... worth a shot if you have a BB near by!

Oh, so they send you specific information that, it is not going to be the collection set? Now they know the merchandises are mixed up then. I was wondering when I was looking at this site, the collection set should not be released yet, but somehow BB has put them on the shelf and messed up the price.

Maybe you could argue that the item you are going to receive, does not match the UPC code as described on the product page. Either you can have full refund with shipping (given it's FS fault for not shipping the correct item) or you can exchange for the collection set, once it hits the shelf officially.
