Default Halo Legends

Anyone picking this up tomorrow? I am crazy about Halo so I might rent it On Demand, if stupid Comcast has it.... but it looks good. Hopefully some SOLID plot summaries for each and screenshots for each will be out, in the review in here everything is squished together and I have no idea which short is which and which art goes with which, but I will rent, after being not extremely happy with my last blind buy, I am hesitant but I WILL be blind buying Astro Boy and JL Crisis on Two Earths..... what is everyone else thinking???

Definite rental for me. The review on this site has me shaky about blind buying it.

Yeah, I am a big Halo fan though. I own all the games, have read all six books, and have a lvl 50 in all but two playlists. with 4000+ games played.

I like Halo but I'm only buying this because it's in a SteelBook... Don't like the style of animation they chose for it...
"The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee were there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music. The Oakland Raiders moved to L.A. and then back to Oakland; no one in Los Angeles seemed to notice. Continued expansion diluted the talent pool, forcing owners to recruit heavily from prisons, mental institutions, and Texas."

I almost ordered this last night. I'm a huge Halo fan. But, I'm not sure how much I'm going to be into the anime style of it. I'll probably rent it down the road.
"Does the Blu-ray version of '.......' look better than it's DVD version?"

I'm so sick of this question. 99% of Blu-rays look better than their DVD counterpart. Period.

I am NOT a halo fan, because I have never purchased an XBOX or a 360 (yeah, I know, blah blah..)

would I be able to pick this up and enjoy it without ever playing the games? The animation styles looked very interesting in the preview I saw for it.

hey if you can't find one I can help you out by picking up a Steelbook copy for you. When I bought mine earlier there were about 25 copies. Just let me know and you can pay me via Paypal and I'll ship it out to you. Just trying to help another Halo fan.

It's story would probably make no-sense, but you could get it for the art (Heard it was really good).

I was on the fence about this, but then I saw that sweet, sweet steelbook and all my resistance melted away.

Thought this was merely ok. The first two Origins segments are the best. Nice to finally see the Forerunners.

I saw all 7 shorts and I have to say that I'm very pleased with all them. But my favorite shorts are Prototype, The Babysitter and The Package. And after watching The Package I gotta say it was FREAKING AWESOME! If after watching that short you don't think they need to make a HALO movie I don't know what will. The short was action packed and it was so much fun.
