I'm a huge fan of the American Pie movies and usually watch them at least once a year so I'd love to see a 4th. I'm curious which cast members will return for this movie. I really wouldn't mind if they only had the American Wedding cast return. I was never a huge fan of Chris Klein or his Oz character and thought Wedding was better without him. Tara Reid is a train wreck and I can't take her seriously as an actress. I wonder if January Jones' character would return. She's gone from a nobody when she was in American Wedding to a fairly big TV star.

Presumably American Reunion will be followed by the sex comedies American Mid-Life Crisis, American Divorce, American Regret, American Nursing Home, and American Funeral. And once you reach American Funeral, the sex jokes write themselves.

I hate the idea of Alyson Hannigan and Eddie Kaye Thomas not returning. They were key parts of all 3 movies and are much more important to the series than train wrecks like Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, and Chris Klein. The third movie was fine without them.

Also, Sean William Scott checked into rehab today for "proactive treatment to address health and personal issues." Not sure if this will affect the movie at all.

Awesome really enjoyed the first 3 and was hoping the 4th would get made with the original cast. Sucks all of them can't be in it though and hope Scott's rehab won't affect production.

That's what I'm hoping! I hope they're able to get Alyson Hannigan back as well, she's one of my favorite characters from the series. They could easily shoot stuff with her during the breaks between seasons of How I Met Your Mother, or make an arrangement where she can go and shoot on certain days. She needs to be back, she's awesome in it and it won't be much of a reunion without her.

It's not just the dudes returning. It says that Shannon Elizabeth and Tara Reid are also returning. But I still want Alyson to come back. Either way though, I'm looking forward to the movie. I love the series and can't wait for the new one.
