That is complete garbage. For Sony to put that high of a price tag on these movies that have made the cost to make the up 10 fold is crap. I am pissed Sony you suck I will not pay those prices 44.99 for S3 and 29.70 each per average on the trilogy!!!!

This is a mistake. Amazon discounts 30%. It's been set down to 10% for some whacky reason.

And this is Sony's fault?

Was this scheduled or something? A mistake happens and people bounce around the net screaming at Sony?

i had preorder in form amazon.com when it was 70, but then i saw the buy.com price drop and then with the discount i pulled the preorder from amazon and went with buy.

plus many memebrs have bought stuff from buy.com and were happy about it so go with them!

I'm cool with $30 a movie. Seems like an ok price. It could change and the box set may be cheaper by the end of Oct. Still a ways off

wow spider man 3 is ridiculous, the worst movie of the series costs freaking 45 bucks? forcing me to spend extra money to get a pseudo deal...i just wanted 1 & 2 cause i'll never watch 3, like i never watch ghost rider, even if the PQ is sweet....i wonder when HD dvd dies off, they will abuse there control over their consumers..spiderman 3 doesn't seem fair at all

I think everybody is freaking out a bit too much, both for Spiderman 3 and the box set. These prices could change 30 times by the end of October.
