If it is a steelbook, then I'm buying it even without English subtitle....I hardly open them anyway hahaha.

If it is a digipack, then I'm going to pass since it has no English subtitle...might as well wait for a version with English sub in the future

I hope YesAsia has pre-order too. It looks like they put Japan version doesn't have Eng sub. Yesasia Japanese version.

japan version is 1 disc
korean version is 2 disc (Im guessing directors cut / theatrical + extras?)

So this means that English subs and Region A coding is for certain? It's safe to go ahead and pre-order it?

The actually preorder isn't up at K2DVD yet, just a sign up page to be notified when they have it available for order. I am not sure about the Region coding.

Region A coding is for certain since South Korea is part of Region A.

English subs aren't so certain, but are probably likely for the feature.

But again, it's just a placeholder.

Looks like the new date is 12/17

This really sucks

I was hoping I'd have it in my hands by the end of this month. The least they could do now is give us the specs and the cover. Who knows.......we might get lucky and have this released with the Man from Nowhere simultaneously...........wishful thinking.

BTW, if this is the same remaster as the Japanese one then I'm definitely taking a pass and sticking to my DVD. I'm sure the upscaled version will look just as good as the Japanese Blu-ray.

Usually, the Japanese release of the Korean stuff DO NOT contains English subtitle during my DVD days.

After checking out an eBay seller that Jumong posted about in the Steelbook forum, I found that he has a pre-order listed for A Bittersweet Life (Steelbook) with pics included:

If the info on the back-paper is accurate, this will have different transfer/specs than the JP release: VC-1 encode, Korean DTS-HD MA Audio and English Subs.
