I'm thinking about picking up Season One of Nurse Jackie, but wanted your thoughts if the show is worth a blind buy?

edit- I realized the title should be Nurse Jackie not the other way around, my bad...I was unable to edit to the thread title. haha

If you like most Showtime shows then you will most likely like this its a pretty good show.

Nurse Jackie is an AWESOME show!! If you enjoy Dexter, you'll definitely enjoy this one. They are both similar in screen play and writing. Give it a whirl!

I haven't seen the show yet, but I do love Dexter and Weeds so I was thinking about watching the first and second episodes on On Demand if they're on there still, and if I like them then buy S1.

Great show, but a little too 'realistic' for some. I think it's the perfect companion for House.

Despite the title (both the cover and the discs) clearly stating ABC All Regions, neither of the discs will play on region B player (LG B390)

I bought this on a blind buy, and am glad I did. Watched the first two episodes and really like the show. Falco is great. She injects her role with some sarcasm and witty humour. You won't regret it.

YEAS. It has gotten increasingly better with each season. There is such a great mixture of comedy and drama, and not to mention Edie Falco is just phenomenal. Def. worth the blind buy.

My wife (then girlfriend) tried to get me into this show when season 1 started airing on Showtime. I watched a couple epsiodes with her and gave up on it. It was kinda funny but nothing stood out to me enough to keep watching it. In fact, my wife quit watching shortly after I did
