I think some of it has to do with how long you've been a member. I have been a member since july 09 and have posted 3 or 4 times and am listed as a junior member.

What confuses the situation is that in the past some members got custom titles from management. They apparently are not handing them out anymore, so we may never see another Blu-ray Jedi.

I asked for mine some time ago and was graciously accommodated, but I don't understand why it was stopped entirely altogether. I'm sure the admins have a very valid reason for it however.

I can see how it could quickly become tiresome for the admins

I think it changes again at 15,000, but I don't know what it changes to.

So I am a Guru I guess and would like to be a champion some day....and maybe even a king.

This is not acurate, it was changed, months ago...

Now we have titles like "Blu-ray Ninja" "Blu-ray Samurai" "Blu-ray Archduke"

I think someone should compile a new list.

Thank you Steve! I've been a 'junior' member for six months and hate the title. If I'd known that I could lose the 'junior' stigma with as few as 20 posts I'd have done that long ago. Nine posts to go and I can coast...'member' is fine with me, I've been called that and worse.
