Well, it's been 25 days since I ordered the Polish Pulp Fiction.
They said they shipped it 12 days after I ordered it, making today 13 days since THAT date. When I go to the " punk44 " site, I see my shipping address has a more " Americanized " look than it used to...wonder if the USPS returned it, and then the address was adjusted ???

Almost all of their screen caps show some banding/artifacting. How apparent is that in motion?

You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

We must've all rushed Mediadis, because JACKIE BROWN is still out of stock !?!?!? They very kindly wrote me this morning apologizing, but don't know when they'll restock. Since they don't hit my credit card, I think I'll continue to wait.

What's even funnier, is that I had relatives in Poland last month and they couldn't find this disc anywhere, so I had to buy it online.

So which is funnier ? Your true story or your avatar ?

It's a tossup ( and no, I don't mean that undercooked Kielbasa Aunt Fritzi had )

HEAT was like my 3rd Blu Ray ( got my player last Oct.)
HEAT is one of my top 10 favorite films.

Just got this a couple of days ago and watched it last night. Damn it looks and sounds sweet! Zero extras, but who the hell knows when the domestic release will come out now and I'll just keep the DVD for them, even though I only watched the supplements once. Well, well worth the import, though it took almost a couple of weeks to get to me via airmail.

I totally agree. I watched it last night and it was brilliant, one of the best movies of all time and a movie that was like no movie I'd ever seen. I still remember the buzz in the car as the 4 of us went home. The polish version is brilliant. I wouldn't buy a ton of imports with no special features that will get region A releases down the road, but Pulp Fiction was totally worth it.

By the way, I will have a sealed/new copy, also from poland for sale. I'm in Arizona and will ship 1st class and I'm only sending it to the US, so you won't have to wait for long to get it. $26 shipped and that included delivery confirmation, so you don't even have to worry about it getting lost. E-mail me at: thebigj32@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Now THAT'S the way to introduce someone to a GREAT GREAT import !!!
As far as not getting " many "...guess I agree by my actions : Bourne Trilogy/Spiderman Trilogy/The Deer Hunter/Jackie Brown...keeping the 2 Tarentino DVDs solely for the wealth of extras.

Twister/Walk The Line...
