Conference Shoot-Out

An un-defeated AFC threat and a dissapointed NFC group that is coming off their first loss
of the season met this past Sunday night. The Chargers took the field with a perfect season
on the line while the Saints merely wanted to re-gain their dignity; and what a way to do it.
Over 800 yards were gained through the air between these two teams, with 250+ on the ground.

The Saints left with a close victory, out-scoring San Diego by just 7 points. What truly did in Chargers
was Rivers' 5 Interceptions. Despite the 4 touchdowns he passed on the side, the lack of turnovers
would have made this game a sure thing for the Chargers. Brees, on the other hand, limited himself
to just two turnovers alongside his 3 TDs. That probably kept the team pretty happy when they left
the stadium. The Chargers, however..

--------------

:In Other News:

The Eagles are back on track as they shut out the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3) this Sunday, 24-0.
Kurt Coleman also racked up 3 Interceptions alone.

New York isn't letting their slow start blur their vision as they set their hopes on a
repreat Superbowl, winning their third straight in Cleveland.

Ever since being shut out in Week 1, the Bengals have been relentless to the league winning
4 straight and leading the AFC North.

The Ravens won for the first time in three weeks, but it was done in a very sloppy fashion..
against a winless Kansas City team. Barely squeezing by one of the worst teams in the league
can be worrisome for Baltimore.

Cam Newton finally has a game where he throws no interceptions and led the Panthers to their
first win of the season.

Jay Cutler's 4 Interceptions helped the Jaguars squeeze out a close win against Chicago.
Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Dallas Dominates Superbowl Champions

TONY ROMO (DAL) led the #4 Cowboys into a huge win to kick off the 2012 NFL Season. Over
300 yards passing and 3 touchdowns, Romo was truly the M.V.P. of Week 1's Thursday Night Football. But
does it worry the Giants that they took such a huge loss to open the year? Manning threw as many
picks as Romo did touchdowns and didn't look entirely sharp, managing to only complete 50% of his throws.
Hopefully they can get their swag (yes) back next week when they host an improving #2 Buccaneers. Dallas
travels to Seattle to take on rookie Quarterback Russel Wilson and the #7 Seahawks.

New Orleans: Supremacy

The New Orleans Saints dominated Charlotte this past Sunday, leaving the arena with 7 total interceptions
from sophomore Quarterback Cam Newton. Will Smith was probably the most recognized athlete of the
games, hitting Cam a total of 3 times. As of lately, the Saints have been racking up points leaving week
2's game with a total of 102 points over just two Sundays. But can they keep it up? The Redskins and
Panthers are decent teams, but nothing compared to the likes of the Dallas Cowboys or Philadelphia
Eagles. Are these weeks just glorious flukes or are the Saints truly a force to be reckoned with?

--------------

:In Other News:

After the ending of Week 2, 16 of the NFL's 32 starting Quarterbacks have more Interceptions thanTouchdowns.

Josh Freeman (TB) currently leads the NFL in passer rating with 368 passing yards, 6 touchdowns,
and 0 interceptions.

Adrian Peterson (MIN) currently leads the NFL in rushing yards with 286 (2 TD). Chris Johnson (TEN)
follows closely with 271 (4 TD).

3 defensive players have 4 Interceptions = Bradley Fletcher (STL) / Sheldon Brown (CLE) / Nate Allen (PHI)

Robert Griffin III (WAS) isn't having the astounding rookie year that Washington expected, having a sole
touchdown occupied by 13 interceptions. Cam Newton (CAR) has 3 TD and 10 INT.

The Minnesota Vikings are struggling after losing sophomore Quarterback Christian Ponder. They've
turned to both Joe Webb and Derek Anderson and their questions have still yet to be answered.

Giants Back on Track

>Philadelphia left the New Meadowlands outraged at the result of the Sunday Night match, falling
to the G-Men 24-27. Andy Reid was screaming in the hallways leading to the locker room, but not
at his team; at New York's style of play. Claims were made from the coach as well as athletes
that the clock was being intentionally ran down in the third and early fourth quarter because
the Giants couldn't face the music that they might lose yet another game. The Giants dismissed the
statements when followed later that night and came up with their own accusations against the Eagles.

However, whatever the case may be, New York left with a win and Philadelphia was dealt their first
loss of the season. The Giants have finally built up a little bit of momentum and carried it on through
their last two games, hopefully they can keep it up throughout the season. Philadelphia was just sloppy
during the match, not having a single offensive touchdown. At least their Defense showed up
Sunday because Michael Vick surely didn't. It looked as if he struggled to get the measly 154 yards that
he threw for, causing two turnovers in the process; one interception and one fumble. But one game isn't
enough to slam the Eagles Quarterback.. well, this week it is.

The Eagles (3-1) now sit behind the undefeated Dallas Cowboys (4-0) with the Giants (2-2) right behind them.
If anything's for certain after the results of this game, it's that the NFC East just got a lot
more heated and the next match-up between these two franchises will be one to remember. Who knows,
Philadelphia fans might finally just get so fed up that they storm the field and get rid of the Giants
their own way.

--------------

:In Other News:

New Orleans (3-1) is dealt their first loss of the season by the Green Bay Packers (3-1).

Tampa Bay (2-2) continues their slide with a horrible loss by Washington (1-3).

Cam Newton is playing so poorly that Carolina fans have now begin betting on how many interceptions
he will throw each week. He currently leads the NFL with 17 interceptions.

Despite a somewhat sloppy play, San Francisco still runs un-defeated in the NFL (4-0).

The Dallas Defense had 5 takeaways as they continued their 4 game win streak.

Every player in the NFL seemed to miraculously heal this past week as every injury in the NFL was uplifted and no starter missed a game.
