Anyone hear about a feature that would allow us to port the whole franchise to the next madden? I feel like it would be simple and I really like my team now lol

^ that would be cool but i'm sure some want a fresh start. Would be incredible if we wanted to do it so we could finish a 4th season of m12 while getting use to m13 and the while new rosters are updated.

Wow that is an awesome feature. Don't remember the developer's name but he has added more Madden features in one year than I can remember.

I would love to continue onto a 4th season but like Battle said Im sure guys will want to start fresh and some owners may even want to switch teams (like me). However, I do like the idea of playing a 4th season on Madden 13 just long enough to get used to it and wait for at least Week 1 roster updates. We'll see when the time comes.

So I know it's early but what do people think about the xp aspect of the game. You can earn it in practice mode and spend it to make your players better which would give some owners-those with more time-a decided advantage. I'm assuming this is an option that can be turned off or possibly tweaked. I would be all for the system if we could only get points from in game milestones and wins because it would allow more custimization of the team but it could also lead to cheesy super teams. What do you think? I'm posting a link to a quick summary that talks about how the point system would work.

Doesn't sound something that would work well in a sim franchise. Unlike other Madden titles I think that this time around if your players do very well/bad in a season it will show up accordingly via progression/regression.

There may be a good side to this. The individual based goals might convince an owner of a 2-8 team to stick it out the entire season, knowing that the connected career will follow them throughout, but if they reach certain individual goals they can still be rewarded.

I've always been a fan of rpg games so I actually love this aspect. Whether it loads to some ultimate cheesiness or not only time will tell, but all in all I think it will be a great addition to the game.

With a week in between games that should even someone with a busy schedule enough time to drop in every so often to run some drills and gain even a lil xp.

Hopefully we decide on running something closer to an every 4 week progression instead of having to wait til the end of the season to see who goes up/down.

Yeah this sounds very similiar to Madden Ultimate Team, I don't like it mixing with the leagues tho. If it would go with would go with milestones from the league but then again that's what progression is all about. As far as building points from outside of the league and using them on your team, I don't like that, there would be a lot of cheese involved IMO.

madden ultimate team was about buying packs of cards and sometimes grabbing a card out of the auction. that has nothing to do with the new madden.

and you're not really building points outside of the league. you would have to put in work for each team you have individually and all points accrued for that team can only be used on that team.

I don't know how many times I've had to sit around and twittle my thumbs because I got a game in early and would have to sit around patiently for the week to be advanced wishing there was more I can do with my team in the meantime, well now I have an answer......

They can be used to scout people online even in franchise matchups and they can buy packs in ultimate team and the coins you earn online and from completing tasks all go to one pot. Nothing I read said there would be a division in points from team to team meaning you may be able to play online games against randoms and dump the points on your franchise team.

Entirely new progression system based 100% on player performance and XP points they will gain through the season. As a commissioner, you can choose when progression happens for CPU teams. Players will gain XP points on their own by meeting goals and as the coach you can delegate out those XP points.

and besides its the coach who gains the xp not you and your account so....different team means a different coach so again they most likely wouldnt carry over

No disrespect to myleaguemaneger I'd like to see it from gameinformer or someone like that. My whole point is that I haven't seen it in writing anywhere that it will be separated. If it makes sence or not it could all be connected madden has done things that no one wants before. Besides it has the word "connected" right in the title which makes me think of one big pot.
Anyway it doesn't change the fact that while I also will welcome the ability to practice with my players that I have traded for and drafted ect. The games shouldn't be decided before they start because every player on one team has been beefed up.

haha dude me thinks you're overreacting just a tad. it will take a fair amount of xp just to increase a certain trait just a point or two and while you CAN funnel all your points towards one player it will come at a cost of missing out on improving other aspects of your team.

and besides theres no need to worry about someone running up the score to try and pad a certain players stats. there is a certain cap per category.whether you rush for 100 yards or 300 you will still receive the same amount of xp
