Well, it does look odd. I am sure it is $20 or less since it is a PSN title. There were some songs listed for it that I wouldn't mind having in my regular Rock Band Library.

And you'll get them. During the demo he revealed that it adds 25 songs to your Rock Band 3 playlist after export.

Itself, Blitz is kinda like Frequency and Amplitude. But even if you've zero interest in Blitz itself, if you're a fan of Rock Band, its 25 more songs for less than normal DLC prices. I say that's a good thing.

I think it will be great! You have a simple yet fun game! You will get 25 new songs to add to RB3 and Blitz is able to use your full RB library and when you buy a song for either they will work for both! cool

Go back and read my post history. Just because my opinion differs from yours doesn't make it threadcrap. It reminds me of Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP.

It looks more like a jazzed up version of FreQuency (also by Harmonix).

Also, what's not to like about a 25-song DLC pack, even if you don't like the game?

Getting 25 songs would be good... depending on the songs of course. My question is, if you delete the Blitz game do you also lose those 25 songs from your Rock Band library?

(Removed - Musashi beat me to it! )

I will definately be picking up Amberian Dawn and Jonathan Coulton. Will need to listen to the Powerman 5000 songs since the only ones by them I know are from the "Tonight the Stars Revolt" album.

Will probably pass on the Slayer songs.

Pink was on Lego Rock Band; I was wondering if she'd see a DLC expansion.

I'll give the Powerman track a listen since I like some of theirs already.

What do you think?
Wasn't this game already made by Harmonix over a decade ago for the PS2? A few times in fact (see below)? Great games for the time, but been there done that. Seems like a step backwards for them.

Amplitude
http://www.gamespot.com/amplitude/images/

Frequency
http://www.gamespot.com/frequency/

The other thing is in the interview they are saying things like its "brand new" and "totally different" when this game is obviously EXACTLY like Amplitude/Frequency/Unplugged. Seems odd to me they would be hiding the fact of their long heritage. If anything, fans of those games would easily get onboard with this one, if they highlighted that they are exactly like Amplitude/Frequency/Unplugged. Odd they wouldn't mention them at all.

In My Head is a great tune. Have a list of other songs I'd rather have before it, but any QOTSA is welcome.
