sorry im kind of a noob when it comes to this whole "region" thing.

Does region free mean that it will work on any player? I have a PS3 purchased in Canada.

Yes, region free titles should play on any Blu-ray player including the PS3. As the title is region-free this one is safe for import even if you own a region locked player.

Does anyone know why it's listed as 17.99 then you get to checkout and it's 15.99?

I'm not complaining about the discount. Just wondering why....does it have to do with shipping it outside the UK?

yup, people outside UK (and EU, IIRC) will not be subjected to VAT of 15%. Good for us, eh?

Actually, as of 1/1 it's now 17.5%. Even better for us.
