Stones are my all-time favorite band so this one is a no-brainer for me.

This is great news. I do have unauthorized copies of it DVD which I have seen and enjoyed. Mick Taylor was an underrated guitarist. Definitely will be in my library...

Freakin' great news! This movie smokes! 'Bout time something from the Stones' terrific 72-73 live era got some official release. It'd be great if they dug up some archive footage for bonus material, but I'm not holding my breath on that. Just freakin' fantastic that this is finally getting an official release and I can lay to rest all my crappy bootlegs.

Found some additional specs on this from Play.com:

English DTS-HD MA 5.1
English DD 5.1
LPCM Stereo.

Bonus Features: Tour rehearsal footage from Montreux 1972 Old Grey Whistle Test Interview with Mick Jagger 2010 interview with Mick Jagger

One other thing I found is that the UK version has a 110 min runtime and from what Ive seen on Amazon the runtime they show is 70 minutes. I hope the US version isn't gimped. If it is I'll be grabbing the UK edition.

Ouch, sorry to hear that born. I, unfortunately, have not picked this up yet. I was originally planning on Day 1 (see above post. ) however, due to the number of releases coming out in the next few weeks, I had to put this one on the back burner for now. Sorry to hear about your troubles, hopefully it is a quick fix for you. Good luck.
Current Blu-Ray Recommendation:

Its okay...I bought it off Amazon and just did a 'replacement' request so I should have a new one tomorrow. I was quite looking forward in watching this tonight. Patience is a virtue I guess.

I'm disappointed that Let's Spend The Night Together is coming out in November, but is only on DVD. I've seen it in HD in Palladia and it looks and sounds amazing.

Ditto here. Learned about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Concert release at Best Buy and picked that up earlier. Wasn't planning on that, but after listening to it, I ain't complaining! But this RS title'll hafta wait for a bit now, maybe I'll luck out and pick up on sale down the road. But BTTF's gonna take a good chunk of my BD budget later this month.

Tim,

Check your receiver settings. I just tested the disc and it plays fine. Great audio too.

Yeah...I am going to have to admit to operator error on this one. A button was pushed that should have not been pushed.

All is well...and the Stones rock!
