I just received this recently from Amazon-UK the other week thanks to the help of some fellow members here. Thanks again guys.

Price: £9.97 and it is region free though the site says otherwise.

It was delivered in LESS than a week and only cost me a TOTAL of 18.33 U S dollars, while Amazon.com has it for $45.99! That saved me OVER $27.00 smackers!

And an added bonus is that UK imports have no security stickers on them. I hate security stickers!

Below is my receipt:

Item(s) Subtotal: GBP 8.49
Postage & Packing: GBP 3.08
-----
Total before VAT: GBP 11.57
VAT: GBP 0.00
-----
Total: GBP 11.57
-----
Total for this Delivery: GBP 11.57
Total for this Delivery: USD 18.33 **

Can anyone confirm whether the set is region free? Amazon lists it as so but we all know how reliable they are.

For region coding you should bookmark this following site as it's a good reference for Region Free (and Region Locked) Blu-Rays, to know which ones are safe to buy.

I always check amazon.co.uk before buying from any other store. Their prices are killer and their B2G1 deals are too good to pass up. Just yesterday I picked up:

Toy Story
Toy Story 2
Moon
Ip Man
Fast & Furious
Death Race
Francais Pour Une Nuit (Mettalica)

BTW they have an offer on disney discs so when you buy one, you get one free. So Toy Story and Toy Story 2 ended up being 17 pounds for both. Good enough for me
Player: PS3 40 GB, Oppo 103
Receiver: Onkyo 875
TV: Panasonic 65ST50
Speakers: Monitor Audio BR2 AV package
Sub: Velodyne CHT-10

You can get some great deals, I just bought

Army Of Crime, Katyn, The Double Life Of Veronique & Pierrepoint for $58 shipped. Always buy a minimum of 3 movies to keep the shipping costs down.

Anybody knows any details of the UK edition of Friday with Ice Cube? Cover is the same, I'd like to know about region, special features and audio. It is cheaper than the US one and I'm just trying to add one more BD to complete my order (shipping). Thanks, great thread this will be my second order.

True enough but it doesn't have the UK Mission Impossible set, only the Australian one at present. That site is great but does lag on occassion. That is why the updates on coding here can be so helpful.

Interesting...how can you figure out what the actual price in USD will be? And how do you know if a certain movie is region free or not? I see alot of titles with a region 2 in the description.

http://www.xe.com or use the Amazon currency converter at checkout

All Amazon listing says region 2, Its up to you to figure what is right and wrong. The Amazon CSR wont be able to help
