That's going to be one epic slipcover. All the people in the Slip cover thread are going to drool over this. Day 1 for me. DON'T SEE IT IN 3D!!! Fun movie all around.

the movie itself is... entertaining enough to get this on blu-ray day1

Imagine that as a steelbook. Shame the movie was so average.

I thought this movie was going to be epic. But the movie was way too short and didn´t feel epic at all, it felt rushed and sloppy.

After seeing some of the features and previews, I think I should enjoy it as well. I know what I am going into afterall

So did I, but some internal consistency is neaded, bad guys are suddenyl good for no apparent reason etc...

I hear you. For some weird reason I am always able to excuse some of this stuff for movies of that type. It's weird because in other cases I would not excuse it at all. I just see them as total brain shut down mindless entertainment

Some of that I blame first on the director who sometimes just can't seem to bring out what is needed out of these superior actors. Let's not forget most of the directors doing these movies are not the ones who came out on top of their class at film school

But part of the blame also fall on the actors who don't always take these rolese seriously because of the type of movie and that is not excusable and very unprofessional. If you are paied for a role, then do it at the best of your ability otherwise if you feel it's beneath you then don't take the job. If Sir Lawrence Olivier can be Zeus put on a toga and a gold wreath on his head and still act like he was doing Shakespeare then by George the rest of them can do a better job at it.

Lol, the cover ain't that epic to me. It's okay.

I specially love the first one from the upper left and the second one from the second row (starting from the left). Those would've been a perfect cover IMO

Saw this in 2D, heard the 3D was awful. The 2D version wasn't good either. Thought it would be awesome, was really disappointed. Won't be going in my collection.

if only the movie itself had been half as epic as those posters suggested it would be. Such a bland film. The cinematic equivalent of Harold Miner; ultrally flashy, but nothing you'll give a shit about long after its run is over.

By the previews I could tell this wasn't my kind of movie but I ended up seeing in the theater anyways. I just wanted to give a chance to a movie that might not initially appeal to me. I didn't like it, I was really uninterested with what was happening in the entire movie. I'll skip this release.

That is a horrible cover.

There were pleanty of great onesheets they could have used.

I hope we get to see Letterier's original cut on BD as this sounds like a potential Troy director's cut scenario.
