Since it's basically from PPVs, i think these matches have a good chance of being on:
RAW Elimination Chamber - No Way Out Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker - Wrestlemania 25 John Cena vs. Edge - Last Man Standing - Backlash Jeff Hardy vs. Edge - Ladder Match - Extreme Rules Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk - TLC match - Summerslam John Cena vs. Randy Orton - 60 Minute Iron Man - Bragging Rights DX vs. Big Show/Chris Jericho - TLC match - TLC Smackdown Elimination Chamber - Elimination Chamber 2010 Those are what i could think of, it would be great having the non-Wrestlemania matches in HD.

^ I'd add Taker vs. HBK 2.

ummm..no. I don't want to see that match again. It holds a place because it was HBK's last match but it truly was only a 2 star match at absolute best. The fact that it was nothing more than a rehash of WM 25 hurt it a lot as well. I'm a huge Undertaker fan but watching him get injured 3 minutes into the match was truly painful as well as knowing how badly his body is beat up and the fact he's too stubborn to take time off to heal properly...ugh. A bad match from the 2nd worst Wrestlemania ever and the worst ppv since the Attitude era of the late 90's. Last edited by yojoeski; 04-15-2010 at 05:32 AM. |

Grant it, it wasn't better or as good as the first, but I highly doubt WWE's going to pass on putting the highlight of WM26 on another release. Some might even say, the highlight of HBK's career...to some extent.

It's terrible because of the amount of talent they had on that show that was misused or, in the case of Batista, Cena and Bret Hart, overused. Every match was completely predictable. The only match I didn't correctly predict was Mysterio vs. Punk and it, like the undercard matches weren't given nearly enough time. When Randy Orton's match is given less than 10 minutes and it's a triple threat match, something is wrong with the booking. The opening tag match with 2 bonafide superstars and one on his way to superstardom lasts less than 5 minutes and did nothing to showcase Miz or Morrison's abilities. Jack Swagger winning money in the bank was an utter mistake given that there were 3 other people in the match far more deserving than him(Benjamin, Christian, and MVP). Batista and Cena should've never been on the card period. It's never good when you have an utter lummox and a clueless, no-talent putz wrestling for and degrading the WWE title at the biggest show of the year. Bret Hart and Vince was an abortion of epic proportions. Edge and Jericho was again totally predictable and awful because the match was incorrectly booked. Edge not leaving with the strap was a total mistake. HBK and Undertaker, I've stated above, shouldn't have happened at Wrestlemania because it happened just a year ago. It was a re-hash because creative ran out of ideas(and out of brains with this ppv in general). I said 2 stars but frankly, that's VERY generous. I'm leaning towards 1 to 1.5 stars out of 5. It was a re-hashed match made worse by Taker's bad health.
All in all to me, the only Wrestlemania that was worse than this one was Wrestlemania 9 and honestly, this one is in the running to surpass that one for worst ever. WM 9 was bad because of lack of talent on the card itself and a terrible ending to the event with Hogan giving himself the belt(or a blow-job as my friends and I call it). WM 26 was bad because of a very high talent level that was completely booked terribly and incorrectly. The 5 best WM's ever are(in order) 17, 19, 24, 20 and 3. There have been many good WM's but those are the best ones IMO. The 5 worst ones(in order) are 9, 26, 11, 25, and 2 |

Hmm not sure if I'll get it if it's only 2009-2010. Would have to have some Punk matches on there to justify the double dipping since I own 'em on dvd.
Also, THANK YOU. someone who realizes that once you put past the story and emotion of HBK's match, that it was very mediocre and just kicking out of finishers for like 5 or more minutes. I enjoyed it from an emotional standpoint but I'd never use that match as a "great wrestling match" example. WM26, I had fun..but afterwards I couldn't remember anything other than my man Swagger won MITB, and Punk lost =( I had fun as I said, but the matches were way too friggin short, which is odd casue it was 4 hours..dunno where all the time went but someone did the math and there was only 1 hour 50 min of actual wrestling in a 4 hour wrestling ppv. Also, hart/vince bored me to tears and went on way too long. Punk/Rey could've been a classic like Armageddon 2008 if given the amount of time hart/vince got. |

WM 26 was OK. Like stated the matches were just way to short. I kept telling myself that after most all the matches too. If they would have had longer matches i am sure it would have been better. It does look good on paper for many matches but the delivery just didnt have time to develope. I still will pick up the BD when it gets released.

Yeah I think they fired their talented graphic designer because lately their artwork has been pretty lame.

This is WWE's rare chance to put on just some good 'wrestling' matches, but I don't think they will, it will probably have some DX and John Cena matches. I would hope there are no WM 25 matches, since that is already out on Blu-Ray, but there will probably be a match or 2 from it. A match I'm hoping to see is the great between with Rey Mysterio Vs. Dolph Ziggler @ SummerSlam 2009, Chris Jericho Vs. Rey Mysterio @ Extreme Rules 2009. Those are 2 matches I can immediately think of that would be great for this release.

^ I don't know about that. The title pretty much promises MATCHES from 2010. The Raw anniversary mentioned 2008 because that was the 15th year. They didn't need to mention it any further. But calling a release "Best PPV MATCHES 2009-2010" kind of implies the need for at least one 2010 match, lol. And I doubt WWE would really skip on the chance to throw in some WM26 stuff too.

But i hope those matches aren't included since i will be getting WM26 on Blu-ray and already have Royal Rumble, so i hope all the matches are from 2009, and there were some good ones from other than WM.
