Default Need Help - How to record?

Now im not the most technolgicly sophisticated person, and im also fairly new to blu ray and this site. Now I have a Sony BDP-N460 and a Ps3, i also have a DVR HD reciever from Directv. Now my question is, if I purchase recordable blu rays, is there anyway i can record some shows to a blu ray using my blu ray player? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You will need to purchase a separate Blu Ray burner, but good luck recording some of the programming in HD because of HDCP complience with HDMI.

You CAN'T record on a blu-ray PLAYER. You need a blu-ray BURNER. And they ain't cheap.
