Noticed the pre order over @ play

Really like this movie but i'm aware that us blu ray picture quality is poor so i'm hoping they have re-mastered this for the UK release (fingers crossed).

From what I've read it cannot look better, it's the nature of the film or something like that.

Was the directors cut not included in the original release?

There hasnt been a blu ray release in the UK at all yet. This will be a pre order for me

Hopefully the theatrical version will be included as well. I'm pretty sure the (locked Region A) US release has both cuts.

I had this on DVD 'a long time ago, in a town far, far away' (just watched theatrical version of 'A New Hope'

) and I didn't really understand it that well.

I know it is to deal with Donnie's psycholigical issues, but the 'portal', 'Frank' and the 'day the world ends' baffled me.

Its listed on Play as 2 discs, both cuts.

I hope this has the commentary tracks for both films as well. The cast commentary track on the theatrical release is terrific.

Have this on pre-order at Play.com, because I had a £1 voucher to use. Although, that will be getting cancelled in a moment due to HMV's superior price. Thanks for the heads-up.
