The problem with the older films is that they weren't stored very well. Bollywood needs to invest in a film archive program, to preserve some of the great films of Indian cinema. Here's my list of 10 old films I'd love to see on DVD, in no particular order.
1) Muqaddar Ka Sikander 2) Sholay 3) Qurbani (the ultimate masala film) 4) Deewar 5) Don 6) Agneepath 7) Mother India (one of the greatest Indian movies made. Ahead of its' time) 8) Karz (for the soundtrack alone) 9) Naseeb 10) Mr India As you can tell, I'm a big Amitabh fan. -bh |
