Default Looking at the Panny LED TC-L42D2...Thoughts?

Title says it all, I just sold the TV in my sig and need a new one. I'm looking at the Panasonic LED TC-L42D2....Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions. The reasons I am looking @ this model are that I am a big fan of Panasonic & I can get a great deal on this TV. I just want to make sure there are no problems with it.

I'm also interested in purchasing this set. I'm trying to sell my TC-L37G1 in terms of either getting this set or Panny's G20 Plasma. I've asked AVS about but to no avail as of yet.

In 2008 I bought a 42 inch LCD 1080p sony bravia and in early 2010 a pixel turned bright white and I looked at it closer and the pixel had some clear liquid coming out of it.

And I used it like 1-3 hours a day.

I don't trust Sony or Samsung anymore (at least for there panels).

Now I am looking for a 37 inch LED for the bedroom.

And was going back and forth between a LG and a Panasonic but it seems the Panasonic has the best reviews and the LG had some bad clouding issues.

I wish someone made a 32 or 37 inch TV that had local dimming.
