Default Courage the Cowardly Dog

Courage the Cowardly Dog

"Stupid Dog! You made me look bad! OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!"

I bought a couple episodes on iTunes yesterday, so it was awesome to watch this show again.
Like Invader Zim I consider this cartoon to dark for the network it was one.
Like this show was hilarious and at the same time creepy, scary, and disturbing. This show literally doesn't age and people can still enjoy it from when they were a kid until they were a adult, and I bet they would still enjoy it.

Luckily Cartoon Network was cool and didn't cancel the show too early. This show had a lot of adult appeal and had a bit of sophisticated for the average child. So it might not appeal to every child, but I am sure every viewer who watched it enjoyed it, child or adult alike. This show was entertaining and just pure fun to watch.

It was lucky enough to be on Cartoon Network and get that many episodes/seasons in. It could have easily been on Adult Swim today. Seriously some episodes were very scary when I was a kid to me, but I still absolutely loved them.

Cool fact: Before the series, a Courage the Cowardly Dog Cartoon got an Academy Award Nomination. That's a first for cartoons on every network.

This show is so underrated as a cartoon.......... It is easily one the best animated show ever on Cartoon Network, which is a great feat since so many older shows on Cartoon Network were brilliant, and one of the greatest animated shows of all time.
It is probably one of the most underrated cartoons ever.
It's complete bull this didn't even make IGN's top 100 Cartoon list.
I consider this as one of the best cartoons ever.

Every episode I have seen is very strong and fun to watch. Each episode has an intriguing and scary story. The writing on each episode was great. There is not even one bad episode in my books. And like OMG the score is AWESOME!!! Probably one of the best scores/soundtrack ever put into a cartoon. The score/soundtrack had it's own feel and just fit perfectly into the story. Also, the look of the animated looked super good and fit the tone of the cartoon.

Crazy stuff happened each episode and basically had a new villain each episode. Every villain was insanely awesome, and sometimes the villain returned in a later episode. Every main charactermade an impact on me. I just loved the story and every episode was a blast to watch and just plain creepy at the same time. Courage the Cowardly Dog is one of the greatest cartoon characters ever. Ditto with Muriel and Eustace.

Wow the character Eustace was awesome. He was mean, stupid, hilarious, and everything bad happened to him only, yet like Kenny from South Park he would return the next episode unharmed. I absolutely just loved this show. This is easily in my top 5 cartoons.

Oh how I miss this show. I am glad some of the episodes are on iTunes, but I refuse to watch Season 1, since it's coming out on DVD in July.

This show is just BRILLIANT. PERIOD.

Who else is in love with this show?

Clementine: You're not a stalker, or anything, right?
Joel: I'm not a stalker. YOU'RE the one that talked to me, remember?
Clementine: That is the oldest trick in the stalker book.
Joel: Really? There's a stalker book? Great, I gotta read that one.

The burger one with the Pig cook/owner sticks in my mind the most, but yes that one sticks in my mind too.

The chicken has several episodes.

I LOVE courage! It was my crack at age 10 or so.

Can we buy the complete series?

Man I miss this show. I never even flip to CN anymore so I don't even know if it plays anymore. I hope this new wave of Cartoon Network hall of fame things continues and hopefully jumps to blu. Johnny Bravo comes out a month earlier.
