Wow... this is hard. Great thread, OP!
Lemma have a go... I may edit... 1. Fight Club 2. Panic Room 3. Se7en 4. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 5. The Game 6. Zodiac 7. Alien 3 I haven't seen "The Social Network", but it is in my rental queue. As for "Dragon Tattoo", I'm a little torn. I'm a Fincher fan, and see movies like "Benjamin Button", even though they are not up my alley. Likewise, I don't have much interest watching "Girl", but I will, and I will enjoy Fincher's style... But, should I watch the original first? It ain't that old, and if I like it, the sequels are already out... Recommendations?

Seven - One of the great pshycological thriller with no horror show on screen. Kevin spacey in his limited screen time is absolutely great
![]() Social Network - Quintessential modern day movie representing the todays youth who vent their emotions in internet. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Has the best moody setup and one of the best female lead i have seen. Fight Club Zodiac Not watched other movies. But i am pretty sure Zodiac will always stay at the bottom.
The world is changed. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it.

In order:
10/10 Fight Club Se7en 9/10 The Social Network Zodiac 8/10 Panic Room The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 7/10 Alien 3 The Game 6/10 The Curious Case of Benjamin Button For me, the man's never made a bad film. Most have been incredible and all of them have at least one monet of pure genius in them. And the guy's great with actors , which is something I don't think he gets enough credit for. |

5 Stars
Fight Club Se7en The Game Zodiac 4.5 Stars Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Social Network Benjamin Button 4 Stars Alien3 Panic Room For me, Fincher is probably in the top 3 of consistantly brilliant film-makers. Every film he makes is superbly crafted - Zodiac is probably the one that doesn't get enough praise at all. It's an amazingly atmospheric piece, both chilling and extreme. I loved it.

I just watched The Game last night. What a brilliant movie.
