This thread is directed toward the Admins or whomever deals with customizong. I also have a Vb forum ( none blu-ray related) and i think your forum would benefit from the quick reply hack . It allows the qucik reply box to already be open with out having to click the button.. Just an idea

omg yes. ever since i joined here i've been wondering why the quick reply is the way it is. quick reply is pretty much all i use on other forums.

imo..either make it usable, or get rid of it so its not taking up space

Well I wanted to see about this same issue on the forum so I did a search and found this thread. I figured I will give it a bump rather than creating a new thread. Hopefully the admins see this and give the easier quick reply a chance. I really does make things much easier.

Yup I agree. I always use quick reply on other forums, so it's pretty annoying the way it is at the moment on Blu-ray.com. Hopefully they'll change it someday.

Uhm, I can't use the quick reply button? Is there something that is turned off by default which I have to change? Can't find a button for it in my settings.

It is there, but I can't use it (it is blocked).

Do you not see this image/button? You have to click on it to activate the quick reply box.

Yeah but who wants to click a button making it less quick. Always have to go back and hit the button because quick reply isn't available.

I've never found it to be a problem. I use forums that don't have this feature at all where you have to click the Post Reply button and wait for another screen to load before you can post anything. I wish they had the quick reply feature set up like this site does.
