Default MaCruz's 7.2 HT setup

I think it's safe to make my own thread now that I have a decent setup. I would never thought I would be into HT, but seems like this is a new hobby for me. Sorry guys. It's nothing jaw dropping, but to me it brings the BD experience to home more enjoyable! I hope you all enjoy.

Looks real good MaCruz. Energy speakers are excellent performers, and their owners usually rave about them. Can I ask about your right side surround. I believe you have it located behind you on the far right.....are you afraid of putting it next to the couch (since it is on a stand) or is it more a matter of aesthetics that prevents you from putting it there.

By the way, check out my gallery. It has changed alot since you last saw it, and perhaps it is worthy an improved rating from the last time you rated it?

Thanks again Fors!

Actually that speaker on the far right I just put there since I didn't feel like moving the desk over more. I'm thinking of rearranging the room when I have time. I'd love to put the surrounds beside me, and put the rear surrounds strictly behind, but knowing me. I'm a very clumsy person.

Overall, right now it sounds wonderful. I'm still adjusting the settings from time to time, but I do need to look into an SPL meter.

An SPL meter, like the digital one from Radio Shack, is the best $50 you'll ever spend for your audio.....very much worth it!

Yes. That's where I play my Madden games Turner. That's where I beat you and everyone else on this board.

Okay. I think you can rate my gallery. Now, if any of you decide to rate me under a 5. You better have a good explanation why?

Also when my lazy butt has time. I'll post some screen shots in 1080i

Congrat for your impressive 7.1 setup MaCruz. That's a huge HD display.

It seems like you're running out of space for your BD collection...
Projector: Panasonic AE4000 l BD Player: Panasonic BD65 & Sony PS3 l AVR/Pre-Pro: Onkyo TX-NR1007 l Power Amplifier: BADA-5 channel l Sub: 2X SVS PB12NSD + SVS AS-EQ1

Thanks pchin! Regards back to the homeland in PI.

Yes I need a new movie stand since the one I'm using is over 10 years old. I bought it from Target and used it for my CD collection. Now it's my BD stand.
