Default What was the lowest price for Matrix UCE and Star Trek Original crew movies on Amazo?

I know blu-ray.com gives you stats. Accourding to stats. $49.99 for Matrix UCE and $59.99 for Star Trek boxset but I seem to remember better deals as lightning deal, deal of the day etc.. I mean the sale in the past on amazon.com

What was the best price for each of these? and what to expect for 10th sale for Matrix UCE?

thanks

I can't say "every" title, but most titles I have seen as specials like that reflect in the "Best Prices" chart like any other (the Lost S1-5 deal at $108, for example). I haven't seen a lower price on the Trek set, or I would have picked it up.

I wouldn't expect much for Matrix - the Spiderman set that was one of the "big deals" didn't even match Amazon's own lowest price for it. All in all, I don't think many have been especially wowed by the prices during "Hi-Def Week".

I agree, the Amazon deals have really not been anything special. They have much better deals on a regular basis, strange that they'd have very average pricing on their hi-def week.

As for The Matrix, I believe 49.99 is the lowest it has been on Amazon. Might have dipped a few dollars for some deal but not much more. There has been the option to import the UK version for a while now which is identical minus inclusion of the Animatrix film, which I believe with shipping comes out to just over $30.
The book says we may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.

I bought The Matrix box set from the UK for 20.50 on 3-29-10 - They were having big sales then. As to shipping, I bought quite a few blu rays so it would make it a better deal.

Didn't the "Matrix" set sell for less than $40 once?

And you can get the same thing at Amazon UK for less than half the price (including shipping), it just doesn't come with Animatrix. Even if you purchase that separately, you still will be paying a good deal less.

I had high hopes for this big sale, since they have been promoting it for a month...let's hope Black Friday is better.

I was going to buy The Matrix Collection, Casino Royale Special Edition, and Minority Report, but I realized I could live without those movies and that I would rather have the money.

Cheapest was Warner Home Video's Red2Blu upgrade program where you sent in the back cover of HD DVD Box Set and they sent you the Ultimate CE for $14.95.
