I heard Japan released Training Day for a limited time in 2008 with an updated HD soundtrack and improved picture quality. Anyone know how accurate this is?

I believe these are the droids you're looking for.

The product code WBA-82851 seems to be WB's catalog number for the limited release you speak of. I found a billion listings for places selling it, but very few had specs. This one, however, still lists it as DD, as did the two others I found.

I found the same one on YesAsia, and all it says is DD(5.1)

Funny thing is though, the one with the Limited Release code is $29.99 USD (Japan) and the original is $55.99 USD (Japan)

Looks like it's the same as the original, the audio is DD5.1!!!!!!!

I'm getting pretty frustrated as well. I need Training Day with DTSHD MA. I've searched many sites but no cigar.
