Sounds good to me, I like most of the WB/DC animated movies and I really like the Kara Zor-El character.

As much as I have liked all of the recent DC DTV Animated Features...

They need to lay off Superman and Batman and feature some other characters again.

Yes, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern didn't sell as well as the Bats and Supes ones...

But they were fantastic films none the less. And I was hoping for something other than these two.

Where's the long shelved Titans movie? A JSA movie? A Flash movie featuring Grodd?
Bat-Mite: "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots then the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."

Batman: The Brave & The Bold - Legend of the Dark Mite.

Didn't the Teen Titans get that CN movie? I thought it was all right. I doubt Barry Allen or JSA are popular enough to get their own movies.

this looks cool and ill definitely be picking it up but i wish theyd branch off and do other characters for these features. i think Green Lantern and Wonder Woman have been the best ones so far but they keep making more Batman and Superman ones.

I'm not talking about their Animeish Teen Titans show.

Teen Tiatans: The Judas Contract was planned to be the 3rd DC DTV film, IIRC.

It was shelved so they could do the crappy Dark Knight tie-in film instead.

And considering DC publishes 2 JSA books and Flash is a fairly popular character, I disagree.
Bat-Mite: "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots then the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."

I'm going to guess Gotham Knight, there seemed to be some events in there that bridged Batman Begins to Dark Knight a bit.

Well, if it counts there appears to be a Green Arrow short included.

The Green Lantern animated also had a short...The Spectre and it was well done,I relly hoped that DC would continue using there lesser know heroes instead on depending on Bats and Superman.

Glad to see another Batman / Superman, but I will only buy it if Kevin Conroy plays Batman.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) (V)

Looks like both Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly reprise their roles. This could be my first DCAU Blu-ray IF they give it lossless audio.

hate to be a nit-picker but the Spectre short was on JL: Crisis on Two Earths not Green Lantern. theres going to be a Jonah Hex short with Batman Under the Red Hood. i like that theyve started doing that, the Spectre one was fantastic.

The only thing we can expect in the future from WB's animated features are Batman or Superman features, though groups like the JLA are possible. WB is not a fan-focused company, and those are the only two DC characters that sell to mainstream consumers. It does not matter to them how cool a project would be to comic book fans, decisions are strictly made on the basis of sales projections.

The story should be good, if they follow the comic closely and the character designs from it. At this point I am surprised WB has never tried to adapt the new Supergirl for a live-action film, but they are so reticent to greenlight any comic property that it makes sense.

It's certainly disheartening to know that some of the minor characters (even as high as B listers) aren't getting the movie treatment anytime soon, but I'm really excited for this release since I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

As others have said as well, at least we have the shorts. I haven't seen Jonah Hex in theaters yet, but I can certainly guarantee that the upcoming short will knock it out of the park. If anyone at WB is reading, my vote for #4: Aquaman.

Wow, just 2 months after Under The Red Hood, that's super fast for these things!

I'm glad they went with the next story and didn't jump around

Hopefully that's a sequel to First Flight...which was excellent.

That isn't a sequel to First Flight(which was mediocre at best to be honest). It's supposed to be some type of tie in to the LA deput of Green Lantern.

Weird that were getting a boxart cover already with Under the Hood not even released yet but I welcome it, as long as Conory and Daly are back I'll be happy.

I got to give up to DC on the animation department!! With the exception of Dr.Strange, Marvel animation is very low budget. I like the way the consistently bring out new stuff. As being said let see some Titan judas contract, New Frontier style JSA, some Captain Marvell/Shazzam story.
