Could this win the award for the most pointless re-release ever? I mean, I at least thought they would hold off until the sequel before they double-dip.

My reasons to double-dip:
*New, improved transfer *Alternate cut. The new edition of the hangover has neither of these. Funnily enough the theatrical cut is vastly superior to the "unrated cut" on the original blu-ray. There is literally no reason for this. |

Wow! That is completely pointless, but I might want it. I just want the re-release to be the Blu-Ray only. I never actually bought this movie to tell you the truth, I rented it a couple of times and I probably want it now. Hopefully, I'll just get the Blu-Ray without the pictures for less $$$. I also don't need the booklet, I just want the Blu-Ray.

The Hangover is one of my favorite comedies, but I'll definitely pass on this... unless there ends up being something super amazing about this that they've neglected to mention.
Also, gotta agree with the person above who said the theatrical version was better than the extended version. |

I'll stick with the original BD release that I paid $16.99 for. My guess is that we'll see the extreme edition marked down to $20-25 by Christmas.

Aren't those pictures the basis of one of the original release's supplements? Maybe they added a couple new ones.
![]() (Maybe, after just reading how Harry Potter And Order Of The Phoenix has yet to make a profit, this film too is still trying to find its way towards profitableness...) |

In what way is the theatrical cut vastly superior to the unrated cut? I have only seen the unrated cut so am curious.

I didn't even think this movie was that great. I mean, I thought it was funny, but when it came out people were clamoring like it was one of the funniest movies of all time and I just didn't find it to be that way.
"Does the Blu-ray version of '.......' look better than it's DVD version?"
I'm so sick of this question. 99% of Blu-rays look better than their DVD counterpart. Period. |
