Exclamation Price tracker notification error

A few weeks ago I noticed that the first link in the price tracker e-mail is wrong. Example: I got this e-mail six and a half hours ago:

Quote:
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers: Damn The Torpedoes
Current price: $21.99
Your target price (+ your price range): $26 + $0

Blu-ray.com: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Tom-Pe...Blu-ray/16236/
Amazon.com
: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042KZJ50
I formatted the link bold. As you can see, "Amazon.com" is part of the faulty link, even though it's on the next line. It'd be nice to see this fixed.

I love music: http://www.setlist.fm/user/are1981 (around 95% complete)

What is 'BR'? If you're talking about 'Blu-ray Disc', you should use 'BD'. But, considering Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) don't know how to spell, who could blame anyone for using an erroneous initialism for said company's trademark.

This is a parse error in your e-mail program... what e-mail program are you using?

Edit: I added a dummy space " " to the end of the link, which should break the link parsing in your e-mail program and thus fix the problem. Thanks for reporting

It's because your target price + price range > current price. Lower the price range or set it to zero and the highlightening will go away

Exclamation Not price-tracking correct version?

It appears that blu-ray.com has a different version (?) of THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE than Amazon because the price being tracked doesn't match and it actually says "Listed on Amazon marketplace" as if it's out of stock. But an in-stock version appears when searching on Amazon. Though that version does not come up in a search at blu-ray.com.

Thumbs up Thanks

Also want to say thanks to whomever changed the price chart pop-up on the "My Price Tracker" page to appear completely within the page. Very cool.

Hmm... my guess is that Amazon must have changed the ASIN at some point... I updated it to point to the one you suggested

Its a different product thats why. The original release doesnt have the DVD but 2 blu-rays, this release appears to be one BD and 1 BD. This happened with alot of Disney titles, they were re-released with DVDs.

Maybe add a new entry? or edit the existing one?

Exclamation Price doesn't match again

Alright, this appears to be happening again with THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Bridge-on-...uct/B0017OB12O

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Br...wai-Blu-ray/9/

Unless I'm missing something.

I just noticed a movie (hard candy) in my price tracked was highlighted, but was $7 more than I had it selected. When I clicked on the movie, its price is within my range at Best Buy, but not amazon. I'm not sure if their is any easier way for me to have found that out without clicking on the movie. Maybe have both the amazon and best buy price charts, but then whats stopping Joe Smoe for asking the same of any other website. I also don't remember getting any email, but as it looks, that price has been cheaper on Best Buy for a while. I'm not sure on a solution, but I wanted to my 2 cents........Keep up the good work!
I've got nothin.........

I'm might be wrong, but I believe that is due to the item only being available through third-party sellers.

Default How long does it take for covers to get added?

Ive added some new movies (austalia), which have appeared in the database.

But when Ive added the covers they are not appearing. How long should it take?

They should go online very quickly unless they were denied by an admin for some reason.
